The Process Transformation Workshop is a one-day interactive workshop designed for those working and leading finance and back-office functions. This course combines theory around Design Thinking with practical exercises to enable participants to identify process improvement opportunities and deliver the change required to execute.
During the course, participants will delve into the theory of Design Thinking, a problem-solving approach that encourages innovation and user-centered solutions. Through practical exercises and group discussions, participants will learn how to apply Design Thinking, Change Management and “Negotiation for Collaboration” to their work environments, enabling them to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Participants will leave this energising, engaging day with the tools to implement these practices in their roles immediately and the know how to build a roadmap to efficiency and execute on it. To get the most from this experience the numbers are kept small.
Participants gain an understanding of Design Thinking principles and its relevance to process efficiency in finance and back office functions.
Through interactive activities participants will evaluate current processes, identify pain points, and prioritise areas for improvement.
Using Design Thinking techniques, participants generate creative ideas for process optimisation.
Participants create a personalised roadmap to address a specific challenge and deliver value in their roles or teams. Through collaborative
exercises, they will generate innovative solutions to address the challenges they face in their own roles or teams.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their roadmaps and receive feedback from both facilitators and fellow participants. This collaborative environment fosters additional insights and encourages the exchange of ideas.
The course highlights the benefits of collaboration and emphasises the value of optimised processes for career growth and recognition. It shares practical change management and negotiation strategies and helps attendees identify stakeholders across the business to engage.
